BNB transforms ideas into sustainability

Banco do Nordeste considers its vocation to be activities geared towards regional development and sustainability of financed enterprises. In the scientific-technological area, the Bank has the Fund for Scientific and Technological Development – FUNDECI, created in 1971, which provides the support necessary for performance of technological research and dissemination of results.

Up to the present, 1,100 projects have been financed throughout the Region, representing a total investment of US$ 63.8 million. Project supported include innovating research with recognized importance for increasing economic activity and strengthening of regional productive chains.
