STUDY OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE STATE OF PARANÁ BASED ON ITS ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATIONAL INDICATORS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF SOLID URBAN WASTE

In this work the environmental operational indicators based on the Solid Waste State Plan (PERS) of the State of Paraná were evaluated through SWOT Matrix analysis. Strengths and opportunities, weaknesses and threats of current indicators were identified. Considering that in 2025 the PERS will be revised, it is essential that Paraná meets the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental Social Governance (ESG). This work contributed to the mapping of the current scenario of solid urban waste management (RSU) in the State of Paraná and proposed the inclusion of 06 new environmental operational indicators in the PERS.
