DIMENSÕES DO DESENVOLVIMENTO: TEORIA E PRÁTICA NO NORDESTE BRASILEIRO

Abstract

The study has the main objective of identifying the most important bases that guide the formulation of development policies in the contemporary world, analyzing how they influence the National sustainable economic development on a dynamic view that regards the income gap reduction and the competitive insertion of the country in the international market. The authors present a view of the main dimensions of sustainable development that are being implemented in Brazil’s Northeast by Banco do Nordeste underlining the methotodoly that is being used in partnership with federal, state, municipal and non governmental institutions in order to foster the integrated economic development of the region in a better structured way.
