The article presents some reflections on collective action and collective resources production and management within agricultural activities in Brazilian semiarid region. In particular, the evolution of common pastures (called “fundo de pasto”) in pluvial areas in the North-west region of Bahia State and farmers co-ordination for fruits marketing in irrigated areas in the region of Juazeiro-BA Petrolina-PE. Dynamics of family farming adaptation are studied, analysing how farmers co-ordination can contribute to family farming reproduction in a context of strong technical, economical and social re-composition.
